Education and Real-World Training

In this program, you could develop the skills required to manage daily operations in a medical or dental office. In our training labs, you can hone your clinical skills through hands-on experience in simulated medical and dental office environments. Through externship training at a local health care facility, you will have the opportunity to apply your knowledge and skills in a real-world setting.

Your classes will focus on essential administrative and clinical skills such as:

  • Health care office administration procedures, including scheduling appointments, accounting, insurance billing and coding, and maintaining patient records
  • Vital signs, bandaging, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), first aid, and introductory radiography
  • Medical insurance processing, types of insurance plans, and collections procedures, patient care and practice management
  • Professional development emphasizing stress management, law and ethics, and teamwork
